I hope you enjoy a non-billionaire-curated, no-algorithm, chronological feed of the people you actually follow (and what they boost). If you have questions, feel free to ask people. We're generally pretty nice about helping new folk to adjust to things here. Quick primer: CW your posts about politics, traumatic things, and so on. Use alt-text; many of us will not boost a post that does not have it. Accessibility matters.Use and follow hashtags. And post an #introduction. It helps a lot for others to grant your follow request if you have a profile, a PFP, and an introduction (which you can periodically update as it changes). If you're Black, be aware there are many, many white folk here with good intentions, who have NOT DONE THE WORK. My friend @Impossible_PhD says in these cases, BRAVO:Block; Report; And Vibe On.
