A log cut from the trunk of one of the cherry trees in my grove, inside my family's small orchard. The spirit who used to live in that tree was my friend, who moved on graciously when against my wish their tree was cut down. This is the last log from their trunk. I've felt their friendly goodbye every day of it.

@nina_kali_nina as I would have injured myself if I kept going. It's a lot of fun. I put on drum and bass music to groove along to it while I paint, I set my cintiq up like I'm standing at an easel, and I count it as my daily physical exercise. I call it "drawing and bass".

Walk around a city and look at pwople's eyes. I tell you, when you look closer you will see that most have dead eyes.
When I look at the people some of them realize what I am, and then, when I smile at them --- that's the moment their eyes become alive, and for a brief moment I can see how much beauty is inside them.
But then it fades away, the dead eyes return and they continue their half-life...
