I actually agree with the core point – shipping real value fast matters and not every PR has to be a work of art.
Turning this into “perfectionists vs slop‑shippers” is just polarizing and not really how most teams work in practice.
In real life you constantly trade off speed, maintainability, safety and cost; pretending it’s a binary choice makes the discussion less useful than it could be. -

PICK TWO." came into being. I'm an old man now. I want reliable. I want dependable. I don't care how FAST you put this stuff together if it doesn't do everything it should. I don't care about your company making money, I care about the products you make. Care more about your customers than about your potential Stock Market launch.
