@Gargron I think people have forgotten that every social network had to start somewhere.

How many were there before FB? In Germany, for example, we had StudiVZ, something called VZ. How many of those are still around? None.

Here in Germany, people complain that the EU regulates too much. In the US, everything would be much freer. Yes, for US Big Tech. They are allowed to do whatever they want first, and then maybe questions are asked afterward about whether everything was done correctly

What about the idea to save and load an alt.txt of an image aside the image in an alt.txt file?

I would bet this will boost the use of alt.txt a lot.
