I wonder if he has some evidence of their attempts to coerce him? (Even if he doesn't it's been transparent, but I'm thinking about the many corruption trials that will be needed. This is one more for the pile and a text message saying "Listen Jay this could all go away if you played ball" would be nice for efficiency.)

Except that it won't, this is going to be the largest blanket pardon for all crimes ever issued. Call it December 2026, the governments will be hollowed out, pardoned and trump will manipulate as hard as he can for as long as he can.

The People have been far ahead of Congress in taking US Fascism seriously and protesting. Three innocent people were gunned down by goon squads this week and then gaslighted by the regime. @SeanCasten Welp. Trump and his handlers haven't just been trying to overthrow the US federal government, they're also attempting to seize control of the entire global monetary system. Time will tell if Powell's bunch will stand by and watch their power be stripped away as well.

The cabinet seems to be intent on destroying the dollar. Its position as the world’s reserve currency has long come under criticism. The US used to jealously guard dollar dominance. The rest of the world has grown to resent that dominance with each passing year.
The crypto crazy billionaires who dream of making an exit from the modern state use crypto as part of their exit. The collapsing is part of their ideological fantasy.

@macfranc @lauramassera @eticadigitale beh, attenzione perché la Apple deve assolutamente garantire (quasi per contratto) ai suoi clienti la privacy e la protezione dei loro dati. Tanto da avvisare loro stessi diversi clienti che nemmeno si erano accorti di aver subito intrusioni e controlli attivi sui propri dispositivi offrendo persino assistenza legale. Difendono semplicemente il loro "feudo" dando protezione (finché conviene) ai loro protetti che continuano semplicemente a consumare gadget e giochini digitali. Della libertà e della privacy in sé non gliene importa nulla a nessuno, né a chi si lascia possedere né tantomeno alle grandi aziende come Apple.

@lauramassera Hai assolutamente ragione, ma diciamo anche che nel 2025 è impossibile non riconoscere che la malvagità antisociale è il tratto distintivo di quelle Big Tech che spesso si presentavano eticamente candide.
L'unica eccezione è probabilmente quella di Apple che effettivamente ha deciso, sia anche solo per questioni di marketing e narrativa aziendale, di opporsi alle nuove tendenze del cattivismo trumpiano

@stefano I think, it had been like this for a while. Sites for lots of more or less big projects, especially if they have paid version of a product, are marketing and buzzwords. That why I usually go straight to Documentation->How to get started for some simple overview and examples.
Looks like they just added those AI buttons without changing a site much.
