@BTylerCohen ... and when I say "enjoy", I mean - the world is a terrifying and awful place at the moment, so I should say, we thoroughly respect your work to shine light into dark spaces. I think part of having hope for a better future is taking the choices to use open platforms, so thanks for being here.

@mlanger yes, reported, there's no indication that it is intended as a parody or anything like that, so it's disappointing.

@andypiper This isn’t the first instance I’ve seen. They get people to follow them and then start trying sell crypto or get you to apply for a grant or something. I’ll report it, too.

@aufkurztrip es geht nicht darum dass die bilder im post sind... wenn das plugin die bilder mit föderiert, dann zeigt mastodon nur die bilder und ignoriert das audio. das plugin kann also nur entweder oder schicken.
ich kann dem audio aber ein bild mit geben. eigentlich benutzt das plugin die podlove methode "cover_art_with_fallback" keine ahnung was das genau macht... ich schau mal ob das auf das featured image zurück greift.
und ich schau mal wie ich die shownotes ausgeblendet bekomme.

Yes, thank you! Learned that this morning! Brilliant. Others have also pointed me to @greenpartyni and @WestNorthantsGreens - i hadn’t realised. Will see what we can do locally (in #Eastbourne). And also what can be done to establish Mastodon more in #GreenParty as a whole. Though aware that v clearly not the first to come up with this idea.
