Learned that Ken Boak has died.

Learned that Ken Boak has died. A nice man who created the Nanode (self-assembly Arduino-like), was super into retro and minimalist computing, and who indirectly re-ignited my interest in LEGO. Here’s a blog post that mentions him and Nanode, from way back in 2012. https://andypiper.co.uk/2012/01/16/makers-creativity-learning-lego-ftw/

@andypiper That's sad news. One of my former colleagues. He always had an interesting take on any subject under discussion.

@andypiper I think it was you that introduced me to Ken (and Nanode).
I last got to hang with him on a Retro Meetup trip to York last summer where we visited Jim Austin's 'Computer Sheds'.

@andypiper :( I still remember him soldering in the car park at Oggcamp 2011. He was a good sport and I'll miss him.
