I think that's part of it for sure. I think there's more going on though.

I think people are drinking less in general as the health risks become more obvious than ever. I think people are using hemp drinks more and more. (This is a large reason why big alcohol had a heavy financial influence in that ban getting added in to the shutdown bill last minute.) And I think people are spending less on non necessities.

Lots going on for that industry!

There are multiple things hitting the US whiskey industry at the moment, but yeah, that Canada and possibly otherc nations are no longer buying. Well, that ain't going to help.
