https://vivaldi.com/blog/a-i-browsers-the-price-of-admission-is-too-high/@brucelawson Do not use Vivaldi because it does not mend your lazy brain with AI
-
@brucelawson doesn't have extensions of its own? But it can run chromium extensions right? If so why does it need its own extensions?
@Lukew @brucelawson Yeah Chrome extensions just work.
I guess what they mean is that Vivaldi relies on the Google Chrome Web Store? (Or whatever it's called)
But I think every chromium-based browser does that, maybe with the exception of Edge?

@brucelawson Even the "doesn't have extensions of its own" is a weak argument.
@zbrando @brucelawson I was about to comment the same thing. I don’t use many extensions, but extension support is excellent in my experience.

#NoAI was my reason for joining #Vivaldi after 15 years of being on #Firefox (and I'm so happy about this decision!) -

@Lukew @brucelawson
It doesn't. But all the other Chromium skins have their own extension stores, so this makes Vivaldi "less" in some peoples eyes.Like managers who dislike people who get more done in less time because they are working less.
