This is why ad blockers, tracker blockers, OpenSnitch, Pihole, etc. are necessary. This isn't just about "I don't want to see ads" or "I don't want to support the work of ad-driven websites" -- it's because a lot of online ad delivery is indistinguishable from malware and spyware.

I don't mind seeing ads. I figure it is the easiest way for me to support content creators.
However, I can't trust ads for this exact reason.

@csstrowbridge @jzb As someone else once tooted re ad blockers: If your website can show me images it can show me ads.
