A dance of two pairs!
While the two Magellanic Clouds shine upon the Atacama Desert in #Chile, two Auxiliary Telescopes of ESO’s Very Large Telescope Interferometer point up to the sky.
Just like our cosmic neighbours move around the Milky Way, the Auxiliary Telescopes can be moved along rails and arranged in different configurations when observing the sky.

They had plushies when I went but in the wrong color 😭
Do you know anyone who could help find it?
Technically one could go straight to the gift shop (without attending the exhibit) but it's a lot of fun - for kids and adults alike

@CypherSephiroth @LisaBanana oui, tu aurais dû voir ma déception quand je suis arrivée à la boutique à la fin de l'expo... Ils n'avaient qu'un modèle fuchsia en taille XS, un modèle bleu en taille M et un modèle violet en taille XL.
Le plus drôle, c'est que ma mère a acheté une peluche fuchsia à ma fille et elle l'adore maintenant 😅🤣
