Recently found a small lump on my testicle. Urologists suspected it was cancer, so I had an orchiectomy. The test results found the tumour was benign which is obviously good news but I don't want to be thought of as a cancer faker so I haven't even told my wife or family.

You weren’t faking. Urology did their job, you’re still alive. The wife should be happy and use it as an education moment for your mates.

@fesshole Friend, nobody is going to judge you for getting the medical procedure that your doctors recommended. Your family would probably be very relieved to hear that the risk of the cancer having spread to the rest of your body is practically non-existent.

Hai ragione, ma devo dire che nonostante la retorica di alcuni impresentabili personaggi, mediamente vedo che il comportamento in strada sta migliorando. Purtroppo al contempo aumenta il tasso di motorizzazione ed aumentano dimensione e peso dei veicoli.Ma quel che è più importante è che ora sei a casa e puoi riposare e riprenderti!

@ben several of my normie acquaintances have started newsletters, lamenting the lack of reach of Instagram et al. Added me without permission. And now they regularly share « blog posts » that always try to sell me something at the end (their services, books, seminars, etc.). Cherry on top is that if reply with a thoughtful comment about what they wrote, they rarely write back. It’s all about money money money.
Not surprisingly, none of them are on the Fediverse.
