@aeva how do I get your phone's autocorrect on my phone? This one thinks I want to talk about waterfowl all the time.

@aeva where on the speed of sound to ludicrous speed continuum is godspeed?

@rygorous it has many contextually dependent mutually contradictory interpretations the way I use it. if we're talking king of kings god it's infinity + 1 speeds per second. if we're talking a god with more of a Waiting For Godot vibe, then perhaps we're on more of an epsilon per second timescale

@aeva I'm thinking Waiting For Godot might be God's peed aka on an extended bio break (look, the teriyaki place's always been fine before; but yesterday, apparently, less fine)

@aeva  have you been feeding Nietzsche to it?

@rygorous true, i guess it also depends on which interpretation of Waiting For Godot. the "waiting for godot is about needing to pee while waiting for someone who is running late" interpretation is probably more consistent with my every day use of "god speed" than the "waiting for godot is about Faith" interpretation

@gureito pretty sure Nietzsche is also dead

@notthatdelta i think i'm using gboard with as much google being creepy turned off as i can muster without turning off the swipe spelling feature. auto correct is not quite the correct term here because the two words have similar swipe patterns

@aeva it turns out, actually Waiting for Godot was about Duke Nukem Forever all along

@aeva If AI were to try and take over the world, autocorrect might be a suitable initial vector.

@aeva *it turns out, sometimes the juice is not worth the squeeze

@aeva ahh I see, makes more sense knowing about swipe. I never did figure that out myself, heh.
