It shows me and my brothers on my way back from the south of #Gaza to the north, driving along the coastal road β it's called Al-Rashid Road, the main seaside road in Gaza.
The cost of transport is much cheaper this way, people arenβt really going from the south to the north anymore.
At one point, you can see a turn to the right thatβs a newly paved road, recently created and surfaced by the Israeli army. It wasnβt there before. -

At one point, you can see a turn to the right thatβs a newly paved road, recently created and surfaced by the Israeli army. It wasnβt there before.This road now connects the eastern side of #Gaza (near the Israeli border) directly to the western coastal area.
The road we drove through in the video is the same route the Israeli army used in previous invasions β from the east of Gaza all the way to the sea. They built and paved it for military purposes, especially during the times when they occupied the Gaza shore.
I just wanted you to know exactly what you're seeing: itβs not just any road. It carries a lot of weight, history, and meaning. -

@thoboumon Merci ! Et il faut se rendre compte qu'il n'y a UNE seule route qui va du nord au sud (et inversement). Une route pour 2 millions de personnes et qui est bombardée régulièrement. C'est urgent. C'est urgentissime. @mohshbair
