Found time for a bit of #guitar repair work today.
Previously tried steaming a few dents (lots to try) but they didn't respond much.
Under magnification I saw the impacts had compressed the finish into the dent, so steam penetration was poor. A little dental-pick work removing finish in and around the dent, and a wet-cloth-and-soldering-iron treatment was more successful at expanding the fibres. Some dents have broken fibres tho, so won't fully bounce back.

Not super illustrative, but here's a view of a couple of dents, and the post-treatment result.
You can see the removed finish and the raised wood surface. Everything will get sanded later and a multilayer finish will integrate everything.

I also did a tiny bit of gluing.
One spot on the top, near the neck/heel and sound hole is really destroyed. There's going to be about five gluing steps there and at least two kinds of glue, maybe three. Ugh.
