@pfefferle I have a Phoniebox built for my now-deceased grandmother that I could salvage maybe. Thought we'd need to wait for my daughter to be more careful with tech like that first. But a detached NFC reader would solve that

@ctietze I use an ESP32 connected over WiFi for that: https://github.com/adonno/tagreader
And I build some wood figures with nfc tags on the bottom, that my kids painted, to match the audio plays, they should trigger (drei fragezeichen, 5 freunde, ...).

Dear Fedi friends,
I'm currently busy organizing the birthday party of my little one.
How lucky I am that I can still protect her from the Brave New World of the broligarchs. It's relatively easy now (she's turning 5)... but it'll get more difficult as time goes by.
If you wonder where my passion for FOSS and the Fediverse comes from: this is it. I want to help make a better world for her and her peers.
As I like to say: it's not going to be easy, but it's definitely going to be worth it ✊

Ma no, sono facilissimi da capire: lì vicino c'è una scuola e se stringono la strada diventa meno facile portare a scuola i pargoli usando un SUV enorme per ogni pargolo.

Uno dei tanti misteri di Milano sono i negazionisti della qualità dell'aria. Quelli che sostengono che gli indici non vanno bene perché li fa una azienda Svizzera. Quelli che dicono che gli indici della EEA non vanno bene perché sono in ritardo di 24h. Quelli che "che ci vuoi fare è colpa della geografia".
