@queenofmars @FediThing I don't understand the overall argument here.
If more bicyclists make it safer, but helmet requirements are preventing people from biking, we should... just sacrifice people by enticing them to bike and not wear a helmet?

Sì, quel numeretto innocente che indica quanti utenti hanno davvero partecipato nell’ultimo mese (magari solo leggendo).Ed è lì che la magia dei “grandi numeri” si sgonfia come un soufflé mal cotto 🍮
Perché nel Fediverso la vera forza non è la grandezza, ma la distribuzione:
tanti server medio-piccoli, ognuno con la propria identità, liberi e indipendenti.Così, se un gigante chiude, crolla mezzo impero;
se chiude un piccolo, ci si sposta o se ne crea uno nuovo nel tempo di un caffè ☕La decentralizzazione: il nostro superpotere silenzioso.

@16af93 There have been cool hacks to add extra ventilation, change out input devices (mouse and keyboard), add different displays, and many other things from the community!
At one point a bunch of users decided they wanted to try some different plates for the form, and they did that without talking with MNT.
@jfred also sent me a lovely custom plate that I use on my Pocket!
