I mentioned Ted Greene's book Chord Chemistry yesterday. There is an archive of great materials on his site, kept running with donations from folks like you and me. Ted's organization of chord positions is unequaled anywhere. It isn't a method. Each voicing is given once, unlike those chord encyclopedias that give 12 times the same one moved up the neck. If you're serious about ear training, get the book.

There is a school of thought which militantly rejects all attempts to point out the close relation between entropy and information, claiming that such considerations have nothing to do with energy; or even that they would make entropy subjective and it could therefore have nothing to do with experimental facts at all. We would observe, however, that the number of fish that you can catch is an objective experimental fact; yet it depends on how much subjective information you have about the behavior of fish.

A really interesting (to me) Gorton case study. Same building in Chicago, two sides of the same doorway, and the letterforms are different! Maybe shows how many copies of Gorton were there, modified and shared carelessly?
