For anybody following the saga of my balls, the good news is they don’t think it’s cancer. I have highly unusual balls I’m told, where there’s about 15 small developmental cysts on each that are just chilling and have probably been there a long time (from fetal growth).
Also don’t be afraid of getting your balls checked out, I had three ultrasounds and all were painless and not embarrassing. I have a ton of funny stories too, eg the Windows ultrasound box rebooting for security updates mid scan

I just had them failing to find anything on the main bodies of my testes, because indeed there wasn't, with final diagnosis being "yeah, there's something non-malignant on the epidydimus of that one, no blood flow, so not cancerous, just keep an eye on it".

@GossiTheDog when my wife had an ultrasound check in Maternity the box was running Windows XP (in 2016) and complaining of SMART errors on boot, which was nice to see -

@DamonHD when I arrived at my first unit after boot and training and stuff, everyone was having a makeshift funeral, bc one of the NCOs was having his 3rd ball forcibly removed. The Marines do not tolerate having extra teeth (they will pull your wisdom teeth at the drop of a hat) or extra testicles

@GossiTheDog I'm a certified ultrasound tech, and I'd really like to know which manufacturer managed to do that (the ultrasounds I'm certified for also run Windows, but it's the Embedded/IoT version and locked down completely – you only see the Windows UI during bootup unless you have a hardware key).

@malcolm @GossiTheDog I'm (also) an ultrasound tech, and there are still some XP-based ultrasounds used in local hospitals today. They've all been end-of-life for years, but until something breaks, they'll remain in use (it was very fun figuring out why a specific ultrasound lost connection to the workstation after the hospital finally updated it from the OS we provided in 2017 – ultrasound stores images by simply storing them to a shared folder, and needed LmCompatibilityLevel set on Windows 10 to authenticate).

@draeath @GossiTheDog If that was the ultrasound, that's manufacturer's problem for not using Embedded or IoT Windows.
If it was the workstation, it's the hospital IT's fault for not configuring update policies properly (though I don't know what's worse – what happened here, or what I see in hospitals, where Windows on workstations usually remains unchanged from the moment we install it).

yes, crypto doesn't have a great reputation - but I think this is the type of think it was actually designed for - small transactions, low cost, fast.
But adding a level of difficulty for now.Maybe just start with tracking and self reporting.
Then add the "pool of money" distribution part. Relatively difficult given the global world, and the not so global currency/ banking system.
But someone like #Wise might be able to help with that
