Bunch of students walked into exam room with glasses for the first time. Never wore them before.
All have eerily similar answers to exam. 🤔
Smart glasses can't even be banned as nobody can tell them from real glasses.
My partner was really pissed telling me all this.... Just sharing his rage.
@chu "unreasonably similar answers" is an academic offence most places. It doesn't matter how they got them.

Actually you can tell
> I made an app. Nearby Glasses is here to warn you when smart glasses are nearby.
@notyourfanboy
Thank you! I downloaded it immediately when I read about it yesterday

I saw on here someone saying they had written an app that tells you if smart glasses are nearby.

@chu
So tempting to set up a Bluetooth jammer in the exam room! It would be such a funny surprise, wouldn't it? But unfortunately, illegal in most places (including Canada). -
@chu Hey physics people, how hard would the above actually be achieve? Could you just put a layer of tinfoil under the plasterboard?
@runoutgroover @chu make the people taking the exams wear tinfoil hats?

@chu Too bad they can't send an EMP out before class.

@Happyfishmedia @runoutgroover @chu a cage only blocks signals between inside and outside, it wouldn’t block multiple devices inside from communicating with eachother. So you’d have to cage each device separately, which a funny hat might be able to do

@ShadSterling @Happyfishmedia @chu Ah so they’re *sharing* answers rather than grabbing them from outside? OK, could you *jam* the bloody things then?
-
@runoutgroover @chu I'd rather poison the signals so as to tag the cheats who repeat them.
@libroraptor @runoutgroover @chu I wonder if anyone in Minneapolis has tools that can do that sort of thing
