They're leaving American manufacturers in the dust, and after Trump's all-out war on renewables and EVs, we may never catch up. China is probably going to supply the world.

@Nonya_Bidniss I saw this news and I was wondering what kind of measures are needed to keep dirt out of the charge connectors - otherwise there could be spot overheating and welding of the charge plug into the charge socket.

AFAIK recharging is a 1.5 MegaWatt, 1000 Volts affair. Per single charging point/plug. Such powers and tensions are not only quite dangerous to handle but they will require extensive rebuilding of existing electrical networks
