damn. I'm honestly super depressed about this. I keep trying to sing pieces specifically written for contralto by the likes of Rossini and Verdi and they sound like shit on my voice, and people have been saying "well ur doing it wrong, italians dont know how to write for a deep female voice, u gotta look at the germans" well this is one of the most famous german-composed songs for contralto and um. look this was honestly my best shot. fuck. there really is nothing actually for my voice is there?

im in a state of existential dread about singing. i cannot find any professional singer with a voice like mine. i don't know what im supposed to sound like. i feel like im wasting my time. am i getting better? how would i even know?

@ozzelot @angel mine was doing great. it mostly ran with PCBSD (it was a great FreeBSD distribution, at that time). It's also been a decent hackintosh. I still have it but the battery is totally flat.
