I have a couple of tattoos that I got while in the army. Both I despised afterwards and had to get them redone. Do your research beforehand on both the artist and the ink they use. I’ve had two uncles get skin cancer from them. If I had to do it again I’d get the artist to draw me a picture instead. That way when I’m sick of the look of it I can put it away.

@Nickiquote @MamaLake I had some big tattoos done before I was 20. My tastes changed and 20 years later I had them all recoloured and touched up to match my current taste.
A tattoo can evolve, as you say nothing is forever.
I have never regretted them.
BTW the pain creates a lot of happy chemicals in your brain which is why people sometimes have a lot of tattoo work done at once.

Basically, every few years I went through something, followed by a strong urge to get particular lyrics permanently inked on me with a picture of something I like 😅 although I'm horribly aware all three lyrics are by men, so they better not turn out to be wrong'uns.
