I'm thinking of getting an ergonomic split keyboard (type: computer, not music) because my current ergonomic keyboard takes up way too much space, & to make it extra wanky I'm thinking mechanical.

I'm thinking of getting an ergonomic split keyboard (type: computer, not music) because my current ergonomic keyboard takes up way too much space, & to make it extra wanky I'm thinking mechanical. Needs to work on Linux, Windows & fruit machine 🍏, come in British or International English format, & ship to the EU.
To make it extra super-dooper wanky, I'm fine with putting it together myself so long as it doesn't involve soldering anything.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Take a look at ErgoDash or other keyboards from FalbaTech.
I've bought mine there, pre-built. They're from Poland.Or the Piantor Pro BT at Keebart (DE): https://www.keebart.com/products/piantor-wireless
Or look at more EU shops here: https://kbd.news/vendors/Europe/split

@AAMfP Out of curiosity, how do you find the vertical key alignment? I've always had slight offset on any of the keyboards I've used.

No problems at all,
Actually more comfortable than "normal" keyboards.
I needed something like two-three weeks to get used to my ErgoDash, from a plain QWERTY TKL keyboard, and I'm still hacking and patching the layout through QMK after 2 years. 😇
If you have time to waste, my story with the ErgoDash is here: https://marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/keyboards/ergodash/ergodash.html
