Heading off tomorrow on my annual "pilgrimage" to the Colorado Rockies! This trip is built around a wedding I will be attending that will take place partway up a mountain at 10,200' (3,100 m) elevation. Bride was quite pleased with the speed/enthusiasm with which I responded to the invite! Just *might* find time to do some hiking and horseback riding in the days before/after the ceremony! 😀 ⛰️

Another day, another hike! Chose a lower altitude hike today while we still acclimate to the altitude. Hiked in the foothills of Rocky Mountain National Park up a canyon. The waterfall we hiked to was all dried up! Should have brought some of the water from the White Mountains! 🤣 #Colorado #hiking #nature

It was absolutely bone dry on yesterday’s hike and with an intense sun. Felt like hiking in the desert. That didn’t seem to stop these beautiful flowering plants from growing — the open fields and trail were sprinkled with the yellow plants adding beautiful accents to the landscape! #Colorado #mountains #BloomScrolling

Hiked a beautiful trail today just outside Denver at the Red Rocks Park. Stunning rock formations throughout the loop. No bad views here! While walking the streets of Breckenridge today, the #mountains maintained a dominant presence. While planning my local hikes for the next few days, I’m also looking toward returning here this winter for #snowshoeing. Summiting to 13,000’ (4,000m) on snowshoes from the trailhead not practical for me after flying in from sea level. But there’s an interesting option of taking the ski lifts up to near one of the peaks (Peak 8), then snowshoeing up the final 800’ of elevation. #Colorado #hiking

While walking the streets of Breckenridge today, the #mountains maintained a dominant presence. With rain clouds moving in and with the sounds of distant thunder, we hurried down the trail (bottom row). Only caught a few drops of rain this time! #Colorado #mountains #hiking

To take the pic, I needed to scramble down a steep class II/III rock formation (pic on right by Lori H.). This was my last decent view of the valley in Silverthorne today as I descended on the last hike of my trip to #Colorado. This was a very scenic hike as we hiked partway up a pass along a stream to a series of waterfalls. It’s been a great trip! @lritter and i figure in the unlikely event that using mollytime with a touch screen on linux sees enough interest that wayland's defective "multitouch" protocol / the implementations thereof becomes a problem, I can put up a sign or something that explains who to contact about getting it fixed for each wayland desktop environment that implements it badly

@lritter my plan is to just not worry about waylandgnomekde for now. the winning combination of X11 and cinnamon desktop (with the workaround coming in the next release of SDL3) is enough to run mollytime correctly now. that, and Windows 10 doesn't have this problem. i figure that gives enough options should anyone else take interest in using mollytime with a touch screen.
