The big project of the weekend (well Sunday actually, with grandparents looking after my little one) is seeing how “easy” it is to flash Lineage OS on my old Nexus 7. Excited for this challenge 🤗
Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

@_elena Haha, my old Nexus 7 was the beta test for LineageOS and /e/OS for me too. Never bricked it, but it was never easy, at the time at least :)

@_elena right on 👍
Any tips on how to roll back to Android if things go wrong? My phone isn't on any supported list (Lineage, /e/), so it'd be trial and error. -

Now I can't do A THING with my Nexus 7 because it's refusing to connect to the internet (SSL warnings for every site) and it won't connect to the Google Play Store... and is slow as a snail. Going back to square one to figure out what to do with it.

@_elena the first answer looks like an easy way to install a CA cert. Not sure if these steps are possible in LineageOS.

@moonshinebrigade thank you! I haven't been able to install Lineage OS because nothing seems to work on this tablet since updating it to Android 5.5. I just want to use it as an e-reader (so I can do color-coded highlights), grrrr.
I really appreciate your help though!
