Not sure if I'm bad at gaming or if #SilkSong is really difficult

@Gina Its more difficult to ease through, especially with the sideways pongoing you need to do with the first crest. But if you persist until you get your other crests that allow for vertical pongoing, the game rewards you handsomely

@Gina it is really hard, especially early on. HK had a pretty smooth, linear difficulty curve. Silksong feels more exponential to me, and not only bosses but plaftorming and some kinds of enemies.

@Gina In don't know what the difficulty is compared to Hollow Knight but it took me months to beat. Personally I think it is a difficult game.

It's fairly difficult, yes. I've not gotten far enough for a "crest" (whatever it is) yet, and I've played for 10 hours now.

I believe the trick is to not get excited when faced with a boss or a hard jumping challenge. If you look at them, they only have a few moves, and so far they telegraph them well in advance. I've had a couple of situations that first seemed impossible, but turned out fairly pedestrian once I realized what was going on.

@Gina My impression is, that Silksong is made for players who are already used to the difficulty of the first game.
Maybe they should have addes an "did you play the first game recently" option at the beginning for new players.
