@fesshole I and my (then) wife would often wake up without explanation at around 3.30 each morning. It was only by chance that one day I was already awake then and heard one of the Alexa's talk! Turns out a routine set for that time in the morning was failing to do something so Alexa would announce it but not loud or long enough for us to realise it during the sleep disturbance.

@fesshole some appliances can be set to silent mode. Usually it’s a tricky set of buttons, but it should be listed in the manuals

For appliances that dont have a silent mode (and are out of warranty), cutting the sounder off the PCB is usually an easy fix if you are at all handy with tools

(All the usual warnings, unplug, dont do anything if not sure etc. etc.)
