That was justified.
They are at the origin of the current human society's organization, as they allowed agriculture and storage of harvested products.
A win-win situation whereby they got plenty of rodents to eat and thus protect humanity against famine. Some 10000 years or more have passed and cats transmit this from generation to generation. Therefore they know who the BOSS is. -
