I had a sad moment a few days ago.
I was in an area with no internet, and I was bored. I thought I'd use my phone to pass the time, only to realize that just about everything required an active internet connection.
This was really something to reflect on, compared to how I felt like back in the stone ages when I had a sharp zaurus and basically nothing assumed that you had access to the internet.
Feels like the internet, as envisioned by capitalists, is significantly less than it could be.
