I am a 50+
I live in a neighborhood of 60+ and 70+
My street has perhaps a hundred houses. On most days I go outside I see ZERO kids.
Also no loud cars. Hardly anyone has a sports car. Or loud stereos.
Point is. My street is exceptionally quiet. The most silent street I have lived in in all my life.
UNLESS!...
I have a conference call.
Then there 3 neighbors with trimmers, 2 with jet hoses cleaning and someone using dinamite to do house renovations.

It's those big, lighted signs you put up in the front yard saying "Quiet Please, on a conference call."
BTW, Bob, across the street, needs you to light that sign more frequently. Having to pause his dynamiting to wait for your next call is crimping his workflow.

@afreytes I used to live in a bedroom just steps from a street and bus stop, which was mostly awesome, but people pressing the button to have the next arrival time spoken out loud would wake me up at night, and if the bus shelter lights were having issues, the strobe action would also keep me up. The funniest though was the early morning meeting (which I always took from home) that overlapped the time the street cleaning truck would come by right outside my window. I would just wait the 20 seconds or so and then ask the last speaker to repeat themself.
