#introduction My name is damian willcox - I have been making comics for MANY(possibly too many) years. You can find those at https://dorkboycomics.com . I also paint watercolours, so expect to see #comics, #cartoons, #illustrations, #watercolor paintings, and random notes periodically.
Here's a comic I made a few years back telling the story of the time I was in Japan and attended "Comiket" dressed up in my Godzilla costume. It was wonderful.

@FandaSin @haubles I had the same thought. I just finished reading a book about the (American) Civil War. The Southerners' argument for slavery was that they couldn't maintain their economy without slave labor. They thought the UK and maybe France would support them (though slavery was banned there) because those countries needed the cotton that the South exported. One prominent Southerner popularized the slogan "Cotton is King."

@sinituulia @laumapret sartor sells silk ribbon, but I think only in a wider size, and it's *delicate*, I wouldn't use it on underwear, unless I wanted to bother with removing it every time it gets washed (which I think is historically accurate, but also I'm not doing historically accurate laundry, OK?)
