Privacy-respecting cell phone. Recommendations?

I'm okay with a dumb phone but it's not a requirement. E-ink curious, but also not a requirement.

On my current Android phone--an old Pixel--I tend to use:
* phone,
* text (Signal mostly),
* camera (infrequently, but nice if it's an option), and
* internet search would cover almost everything else (e.g., weather app, Latin dictionary, etc.)

My service is currently on Google Fi, but would be happy to change for similar rates.

@michaelc Check out @GrapheneOS there probably isn't anything more private and secure than that. At the moment only supported on Pixel devices and I'm sure the developers could speak at depth in length as to why.

@michaelc also, I wouldn't use a dumb phone for many reasons but the overwhelming reason is definitely a lack of an ability to load any encrypted messaging apps like Signal on it.
