Hi! Hello! I am izjustpixels ✨

I am a hobbyist pixel artist based in #Canada, creating vibrant pixelscapes. Primarily landscapes and structures, but occasionally #videoGame #demakes as well ✨ I do not use any genAI in my art and do not support NFT's.

I've been active over at @izjustpixels@mastodon.art, and was going to move that account here, BUT there appears to be some blocking/suspending (?) going on between the two instances, so it looks like I won't be able to do that. 😔 I SAD, but looks like I'm getting a fresh start here I guess!

PS this is a real challenge with #federation - "just move to a new instance, it's easy!" often is NOT true unfortunately.

if the old instance cannot "see" the new instance, you're kinda hooped. can't move your followers over, can't set a redirect - it's like starting fresh and involves a lot of manual work.

which can be really difficult for small-time artists who are trying to make it work without the #instagram|s and #meta|s of the world 😪

I'm on a single user instance running on my basement, and I'm not using cloudflare.

Do you want some temporary hospitality ?
You can migrate your follower to my server, and then, from there, you can migrate them to your new instance.
