I forgot I need cotton string for tying a turkey shut when roasting it.

I forgot I need cotton string for tying a turkey shut when roasting it. I do not want to go on a wild goose chase looking for that today. Maybe I'll just use steel wire

Someone is going to suggest that steel could poison me. Someone else is going to ask why I simply don't go to Le Petit Cheferie restaurant supply (they're everywhere! where do you live? Portland, why?)

@MLE_online I've always wondered - super glue was invented to use to close wounds, maybe it's food safe?

@aeva I dunno. You can put bandaids on your cuts, but that doesn't mean you should eat them.
Super glue wasn't invented for closing wounds though. It was accidentally created while some guys were trying to come up with a plastic material for lenses, and I think it was used as a general purpose glue for a long time before it was accepted as a way of closing up cuts
