@trezzer all I watched were like a couple of blender tutorials and a theme song for an old soap opera and literally there's a Hitler speech which was uploaded a month ago in the sidebar recommendations

@cwebber It's been like this for a while. People usually point to Facebook and x dot com when talking about tech companies being complicit in pushing right wing narratives but Google and YouTube are just as responsible imo

mat@friendica.exon.name you're right, and in the ideal case, NodeBB would not send summary either, as it is automatically generated.
Right now, we are in a situation where Mastodon will utilize summary for non-note objects, but ignore content. This is why we send both, currently.
When Mastodon updates their implementation to consume preview, then we will update ours to no longer send summary.

Continuo a pensare che la domanda "ma tu lo vuoi" riferito ad un figlio sia stupida e senza senso ed ho paura di chi dice "sì" con assoluta convinzione perché vuol dire che non ti stai rendendo conto di che cazzo vuol dire.

Utilizzo spesso estensioni e app di speed reading (lettura veloce) per leggere articoli sul web. So che tanta letteratura sull'argomento non ha studi scientifici adeguati a supporto e gira tanta "fuffa" sul tema ma praticando alcuni esercizi da diverso tempo, credo almeno cinque anni, e usando alcune app/estensioni per leggere velocemente almeno i contenuti che trovo online, ho riscontrato diversi benefici, uno su tutti, la notevole diminuzione delle distrazioni con successiva perdita di concentrazione, che spesso mi costringeva a rileggere anche più volte gli stessi paragrafi.
Ho notato, quando posso misurare ovviamente, che la mia velocità di lettura ideale varia dai 325 ai 400 WPM, (non di più per non penalizzare la comprensione del testo) e anche quando leggo libri cerco di mantenere un ritmo abbastanza sostenuto ma, soprattutto nella "narrativa", evitando di perdere l'espressività della "voce interiore" e quindi il piacere della lettura.
Dopo questo breve pippone (scusate) vorrei condividere un'app e un'estensione che sto utilizzando da qualche tempo.

Purtroppo per Android non ho trovato nulla di libero su f-droid ma la app che sto usando pare non aver traccianti e funziona discretamente:

Anche Markor (editor) ha una modalità "speed reading" ma bisogna copiare e incollare il testo in un file, non proprio comodissimo.
