@hrefna @thisismissem Hm, it's not really true though, is it? OWL has been around a long time. It's not mandatory for all projects, but it's right there.

I have my own critiques of RDF, and I think it tends to bring people down the wrong path. But this seems just incorrect.

@cwebber @hrefna right, just like there's SheX and SHACL, but those are additional tools to work around that problem.

Whilst you can try to add a schema to it and make the stuff in RDF meaningful, it's not inherently meaningful itself as a format really
