I stumbled across a blog post talking about using react js for webdev. It cites the number of people employed in positions that use react as an indicator of its popularity, which is in turn used as a reason to adopt react for new projects.
Meanwhile, I look at that same metric and think about how it might actually be an indicator that react projects have a higher maintenance cost than alternative technologies 🤔

@ansuz well if React was built to serve Facebook's needs, then it's clearly a perfect match for our needs too (said every company)
