Man I took Taipei metro for 19 years and I took it for granted. Man now I descend into the underworld where I must choose between cars and public transport because the public transport really fucking sucks that bad. And don't get me started on buses here. They're so fucking bad. did I ever mention Taipei has Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka, and English announcements (text And voice) in every metro line and every bus line and for every single station and they're actually audible most of the time?
