interesting to look into the other person that is involved with this situation. I see @gyrovague has an account here since 2017 but only made one post about leaving twitter and then coming back here for one boost in 2023

this whole thing sorta starts with gyrovague (also publicly identified as Jani Patokallio) trying to figure out who runs archive.today, but this sorta seems like it is leading to the identity of the people behind it getting doxed or like now they are having the FBI go after them.

@cathos no there is a HUGE portion of the internet archive thats only on archive.today, I don't think there is any alternative. if it really goes down and doesn't get a backup from another source I fear a lot of information does away
