@stefano if, to my horror, you didn’t meet these movies yet, I hope you will get the chance to watch them someday. b&w masterpieces, of course with a now very old context, decors fashion music and everything but… I always felt at home with them while being much much younger.

@liaizon @rysiek is this just a "forkiverse Georg" fact? because when i do the maths, 6098 ÷ 4169 is bigger than 1. (obviously that can be the case and "most of the signups haven't posted" can also be true).

@stefano I do hope the translator captured the way Audiard wrote the dialogues and transposed them equally in the other languages

@rysiek looking at https://theforkiverse.com/nodeinfo/2.0 its sorta a crazy ratio, as there are so far 6098 local posts from a total of 4169 user accounts so that means most of the signups haven't lead to a single post yet

@stefano a very well known film (probably one of the two films that are fully guaranteed to make me laugh is “Les tontons flingueurs”. A jewel for my ears with fabulous actors and magnificent dialogues. I think coproduced with Italy/wGermany. Films titled “crooks on clover” ; “in famiglia si spara”; “Mein Onkel, der Gangster”. (IMDb is my friend here)
To be mentionned is “Les barbouzes” which feature the same actors / dialogue secret recipe. Titles : the great spy chase ; Quattro spie sotto il letto
