Seriously. The problem I have with Quoots is the same problem I have with Boosts.
One single person boosting and quooting 1000 times in succession means I don't get to see 1000 actual toots from 1000 actual people I follow. (JFC this is an example, not singling any1 out)
There is no Hide Quoots functionality yet on a per profile level.
And no, just disabling "Show quotes" does NOT work because then the feed bugs out if the amount of Quoots is larger than the Feed limit on the default website.

@afreytes this is one of those things that would be trivially solved if we could customize the way our timeline was managed. For example, if we could collect all boosts and quoots of the same original post, or even, for what it's worth, all the posts linking to the same external resource (regardless of whether it's an ActivityPub object or not).
