Doing some research for "reasons" with help of some friends, but also wanted to ask openly. If you read web comics, where do you prefer to read them?
EDIT: Just for some additional clarity. I'm limited to 4 options, but the first 2 options which would be artist owned website(s) would come with an RSS feed option.

@Tealfuleyes I voted dedicated website, but I'm also fine with webcomic platforms like ComicFury but NOT ones like Tapas and Webtoons.
RSS is good for notifications, but the website is where I actually *read* the comic, and it's where I first experience the comic before I decide to follow it.

@Tealfuleyes my feed reader is basically entirely made up of webcomic feeds 8-).
FWIW, some dedicated platforms also offer RSS feeds (ComicFury, and last time I checked I think Webtoons did? Or at least used to do, albeit somewhat hidden.) And of course Mastodon does, as social media goes, although getting an author + tag feed isn't trivial.

@eishiya @Tealfuleyes same here. I skipped voting for the platform because CF is the only one I consider acceptable (it even supports RSS in addition to their internal follow mechanism).
I do follow artists (and webcomic) profiles when I come across them on Fedi, but still prefer to read the pages on the website
