Surely military coups can be more of a spectrum than merely binary, no? One needn't go full-Monty, assassinate the leaders and have a Generalissimo install himself as leader-for-life.
I mean, a military could just remove the secretary of defense, president, maybe a few others for specific crimes/constitutional violations. Could have them stand military trials and demand legislators try again with different people?
Just seeding some ideas out there for rogue failed states to consider.

@stefano I’m testing both Ivory and IceCubes, too. Even if IceCubes has more bells and whistles I vastly prefer Ivory because it’s more polished and snappier.

@_elena@mastodon.social @stefano@bsd.cafe Is it really the case that Ivory is Mastodon specific? Or is it that nobody knows or cares that Mastodon is a subset of the Fediverse, and everyone just refers to the whole Fediverse as "Mastodon"?
Every mention of Ivory in the context of the Fediverse uses "Mastodon". Some sites even refer to it as, "Ivory for Mastodon".
