Another thing that people honed in on was "software engineering" versus "programming", "software development", or other names for building software. I didn't intend it as a major focus, but I did want to cover all the parts of the job of getting software made -- not just typing code.
@hattom that might explain it in the winter but not during other vacations. My very unscientific explanation is that they does it out of spite. Something like «oh so you want to build your career out of studying me? Well, you're going to WORK for it.»
@CapitalB @LaVi “around the lakes” can easily mean an elevation of more than 1000 m, so, yes, it does snow every year around lake Como (and Maggiore)but lake Como itself is just at 200 m, and proper snow isn't that common, and the other densely populated areas aren't much higher
