Morning hike and ran across a sluggish porcupine. Normally they're all like “talk to the butt!”, this one just stayed still except when we talked, then it moved head a little.

@juergen_hubert initially I took hot rod as meaning en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_rod and it made perfect sense, except for the whole context and probably time :D
