Looks like a physicist has died of gun violence in Massachusetts. Tabloids describe him as "nuclear physicist", but the insinuation may not be entirely accurate. His work seems to have touched nuclear fusion research, to some degree, however, just more in the astrophysics sense than in the things-that-go-boom sense.
