Had to cancel my plans to attend #DeclarativeAmsterdam in person on short notice ๐. Hotel, full refund. Eurostar, full refund. Great Western Rail? Of the ยฃ180 fare, ยฃ12 was deemed refundable (???). They charged a ยฃ5 processing fee to do it. So I got almost, but not quite, 4% of my money back. Public infrastructure should not be in private hands and it should be run for the public.
