I now have a festive lemon tree. Unfortunately most of the fruit fell off before it got to me, but there's a few bravely hanging on.

I have, perhaps wildly optimisticly, put the fallen fruits into a bowl which can sit on the window sill to ripen.

Speaking of plants, I got this fishbone cactus yesterday. I think the shape of the leaves is wonderful.

Fu un grande del suo tempo, fece cose mirabili, ma sapeva dove viveva e in che epoca.
Provare a tirargli fango mi pare davvero ingeneroso.
