BTW: After trying (and failing!) to watch Leto's Tron, I resumed watching Rise of Skywalker.
It has taken me, and I am being dead serious, it has taken me MONTHS to watch the first 15 minutes of this film. And I honestly debate with myself wheter the movie is bad or it's just me and my old brain that just cannot accept it.
None of it feels right, or charming, or wonderful, none of it feels like Star Wars to me.
Remember how awestruck you felt when you watched the (real) first one?

@afreytes I do remember. When the prequels came out I tried to feel that again through gritted teeth.
I haven’t watched this new trilogy past the first movie. I don’t expect any magic

@afreytes No no, I'm convinced it's actually a bad movie at the end of a bad Sequel trilogy, that desperately wants to show it's (legally official) connection to the original movies and the Star Wars IP.
There is no point at all in this story nothing really leads to anything and everything that should feel important actually just feels like a bad imitation of the original movies.

I read some references here and there to #Severance from Apple but I never cared much.
I've now watched both seasons, and it's not good, it's fantastic. The filming and acting is top notch, the dialogs are all good, there's no banality, the developments are thoughtful.
A bit too surreal and artsy at times for my taste, but overall 10/10.The season 2 finale is also a perfect ending imho, and absolutely does not need a season 3 (which will come next year anyway).
Watch it.
